Great Mother's Day Clothing give away!

Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 12:30 pm outside the church and hall.

This year we chose fruit trees and fruiting bushes to decorate our Paschal icons so that we would have them to plant outside in the church yard.

Our parishioner, Joel Miller, has fallen asleep at 10 pm on Pentecost Sunday.

May his Memory be Eternal.

New signage replaced the old tattered one with the unwavering labor and support from our neighborhood residents. Thank you for their time and effort.

Brass Polish

On Monday December 18 Andrew, PolyCarp, and Sergei generously volunteer their time at the church, dedicating hours to meticulously polish the brass furniture, enhancing the aesthetic beauty of the sacred space and contributing to its upkeep. Their shared commitment reflects a harmonious collaboration in service of maintaining the church's spiritual environment.

The Holy Scripture is a collection of books written over multiple centuries by those inspired by God to do so. It is the primary witness to the Orthodox Christian faith, within Holy Tradition and often described as its highest point. It was written by the prophets and apostles in human language, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and collected, edited, and canonized by the Church.

Holiness or sainthood is a gift (charisma) give by God to man, through the Holy spirit. Man's effort to become a participant in the life of divine holiness is indispensable, but sanctification itself is the work of the Holy trinity, especially through the sanctifying power of Jesus Christ, who was incarnate, suffered crucifiction, and rose from the dead, in order to lead us to the life of holiness, through the communion with the Holy Spirit.
